Why You Should Be a Guest on Wes Iseli’s MagicLife Podcast

Do you have a great story, unique expertise or an exciting project you want to share with a worldwide audience?

Wes Iseli’s MagicLife Podcast is always looking for fascinating guests who can entertain, educate, inspire or surprise our listeners. You do not have to be a magician to join us—you simply need an interesting story and a passion for what you do.

Now in its seventh year, the MagicLife Podcast has produced more than 300 episodes and reached listeners in 101 countries. Appearing on the show is an opportunity to introduce yourself, your work and your message to an established international audience.

Reach Listeners Around the World

A podcast interview allows you to connect with people far beyond your immediate community or social media following.

Wes Iseli’s MagicLife Podcast has been heard in 101 countries, giving our guests exposure to listeners from many different backgrounds and interests. Every episode also becomes a permanent piece of online content that people can discover through podcast platforms, YouTube, websites and search engines.

Unlike a social media post that may disappear from view within hours, a podcast interview can continue introducing new people to your story for years.

Join an Established Weekly Podcast

Wes Iseli’s MagicLife Podcast premiered on July 29, 2020, and has continued releasing new episodes every week.

Consistency matters. Guests are not appearing on a brand-new program that might disappear after a few episodes. They are joining a show with more than six years of interviews, stories and conversations behind it.

New episodes are released every Wednesday at 3:00 PM, giving listeners a dependable schedule and guests a clear date to promote their appearances.

You Don’t Have to Be a Magician

Magic may be in the name, but the podcast is really about the fascinating people, unexpected experiences and remarkable stories that make life magical.

Past guests have included:

  • World-famous magicians
  • Penn & Teller: Fool Us performers
  • FISM champions
  • Actors and comedians
  • Authors and artists
  • Scientists and doctors
  • Television personalities and producers
  • Entrepreneurs and business owners
  • Nutrition and fitness experts
  • Theater directors
  • Musicians and entertainers
  • Casino professionals
  • Hypnotists and unusual specialists

Some guests arrive with impressive credentials. Others have an incredible personal story that deserves to be heard. What matters most is that you are passionate, authentic and willing to have a great conversation.

Enjoy a Relaxed, Conversational Interview

Appearing on a podcast should not feel like an interrogation.

Hosted by professional magician and entertainer Wes Iseli, the MagicLife Podcast is known for comfortable, conversational interviews. Wes has performed professionally since 1996, presents approximately 400 shows each year and won on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. He also stars with his family in the syndicated television series Wes Iseli’s MagicLife.

Those decades of live-entertainment experience help Wes put guests at ease, follow unexpected stories and keep conversations moving naturally.

You do not need to memorize answers or prepare a speech. We want listeners to feel as though they are sitting with us and enjoying a fascinating conversation.

Tell the Story Behind Your Accomplishments

A short biography can tell people what you have accomplished. A podcast interview gives you time to explain how it happened.

We want to explore:

  • Where your journey began
  • The challenges you faced
  • The risks you took
  • The failures that taught you something
  • The people who influenced you
  • The unexpected moments that changed your direction
  • What you are creating now
  • What you hope to accomplish next

These personal details are often what make listeners remember—and connect with—a guest.

Promote Your Current Project

If you have a new book, show, business, film, course, product, nonprofit organization or creative project, your interview gives you an opportunity to discuss it in greater depth.

Rather than delivering a quick advertisement, you can explain why the project matters, how it was created and who it could help. That story gives listeners a reason to care about what you are promoting.

Guests can also direct listeners to their website, social media pages and current projects.

Your Episode Continues Working for You

Our promotion does not necessarily end when an episode is released.

Episodes may continue to be shared through the larger MagicLife network, including our websites, social media content, blogs, videos and online communities. Older interviews can also be rediscovered when a guest releases something new or becomes part of a current conversation.

Your appearance becomes a permanent interview that you can share with:

  • Fans and followers
  • Potential customers
  • Event organizers
  • Members of the media
  • Publicists and booking agents
  • Future podcast hosts
  • Friends and family

It can also become a useful addition to your website, media page or electronic press kit.

Become Part of the MagicLife Story

Wes Iseli’s MagicLife is more than one podcast. It is a connected entertainment brand that includes a syndicated television series, weekly vlog, live performances, blogs, newsletters, social media content and an international podcast audience.

Every guest brings something new to that world.

Whether you make people laugh, challenge the way they think, teach them something valuable or share a story they have never heard before, we would love to learn more about you.

Why Be a Guest on the MagicLife Podcast?

Every week, the MagicLife Podcast brings fascinating people and incredible stories to listeners around the world. If you're passionate about what you do and enjoy sharing your knowledge, experiences, and journey, we'd love to hear from you.

A Global Audience

The MagicLife Podcast is heard in over 100 countries around the world. Whether you're promoting a business, book, show, project, cause, or simply sharing your story, our audience spans far beyond a single city, state, or country.

Six Years of Consistent Content

In a world where many podcasts come and go, the MagicLife Podcast has been producing weekly episodes for more than six years. We've built a loyal audience that enjoys discovering new guests, learning new ideas, and hearing inspiring stories.

Your Episode Keeps Working for You

Many podcasts release an episode and move on. We continue promoting our guests long after the interview is over.

Episodes are shared through our social media channels, website, podcast platforms, and growing online communities. New listeners regularly discover older episodes, meaning your interview can continue generating exposure months or even years after it first airs.

We Love Passionate People

We've interviewed magicians, actors, comedians, authors, doctors, scientists, nutrition experts, fitness professionals, voice coaches, bounty hunters, financial advisors, entrepreneurs, television personalities, and many more.

The common thread isn't a specific profession.

It's passion.

If you genuinely love what you do and can share your knowledge, experiences, successes, failures, and lessons learned, there's a good chance you'll make a great guest.

More Than Just Promotion

Our goal isn't simply to give guests a platform to advertise themselves. We want listeners to walk away entertained, inspired, educated, or motivated.

The best interviews are conversations that allow guests to tell their stories, share their expertise, and connect with people on a deeper level.

A Relaxed Conversation

Many guests tell us they appreciate the comfortable and conversational format of the show. This isn't a high-pressure interview designed to catch anyone off guard. It's a chance to have a genuine conversation about the things that matter most to you.

Who Should Apply?

You might be a great fit if you are:

  • An expert in your field
  • An author, speaker, performer, or entertainer
  • A business owner or entrepreneur
  • A coach, consultant, or educator
  • Someone with a unique life story
  • A creator with a project you're passionate about
  • Anyone who has valuable experiences and insights to share

We'd Love to Hear From You

If you're passionate about your topic and enjoy helping, inspiring, educating, or entertaining others, we invite you to apply to be a guest on the MagicLife Podcast.

Great conversations create great episodes, and some of our best guests have come from people simply reaching out and sharing their story.

We never know where the next amazing conversation will come from.

Maybe it's you.

"We're always looking for passionate people with great stories and unique expertise. Tell us a little about yourself and let's start the conversation."

Ready to Be Our Next Guest?

If you're passionate about what you do and think our audience would enjoy hearing your story, we'd love to hear from you.

Wes Iseli's Magiclife Podcast S6E46 (Nicole Pearson)

In this episode Wes & Natalie interview with Nicole Pearson, a musical theater director and performer, discussing her career and her work with Lana, the host's 14-year-old daughter who takes musical theater classes with her. Nicole shared her journey from starting as a singer in church at age 4 to pursuing musical theater at Belmont University, where she played Grizabella in "Cats" as a senior. The conversation covered Nicole's transition from performing to teaching, her approach to directing musical theater classes for homeschool students, and the challenges of helping students like Lana develop confidence on stage. Wes and Nicole discussed the importance of pushing children out of their comfort zones, dealing with stage fright, and the life skills students gain through performing arts, including teamwork and public speaking. They also talked about the balance between being authentic and playing characters during performances, with Wes sharing his struggles getting Lana more involved in their family magic shows despite her reluctance to perform certain tricks.
